7 things your website needs to increase sales

Creating a website for your brand can be a pretty big investment both in terms of 💰 and 🕑.

And so you want to make sure that it works hard for you.

Ultimately, you need to consider
👉 Is your website optimised to sell?

Unsure? Here are 7 things I recommend for every website to increase sales potential 👇

1) Customer-focused, valuable content

Valuable content that addresses your customer’s questions, concerns, problems and emotions

2) Social proof

Proof that what you’re offering works. This could be customer testimonials, case studies or product reviews.

3) High res images & brand-aligned graphics

High-quality images that relate to your brand & your offering. Stock imagery is perfectly fine but try to keep to your brand guidelines

4) Clear call-to-actions

Include clear call-to-actions on every page that tell your customer what to do next

5) Trust badges

Trust badges help establish credibility and build authority. These can include awards, Google reviews, qualifications etc.

6) User-friendly, accessible navigation

Easy navigation that removes as many barriers to checkout or conversion as possible. Try to limit the number of clicks to checkout to 2.

7) Clear & compelling copy

Copy that speaks directly to your customer’s needs/desires/challenges. They should feel like they are in the right place when they land on your website.

Which of the above elements does your website have? And what one do you find the most surprising? Let’s chat in the comments
