3 tips for writing unforgettable FAQ pages

Ever considered that the humble FAQ page could be one of your most valuable assets? 😲

Think about it...

Literally nowhere else does a visitor so deliberately indicate that they want to know about your product or service.

While I usually recommend answering your customer's main questions within the content on your homepage, blog, social, etc. FAQ pages remain a valuable tool today.

But there is one snag.
They need to be created mindfully.

And so, here are my top three tips for writing unforgettable FAQ pages that will give your customer what they actually want

Tip #1: Ditch the confusion

Your customer has a question, and they expect a clear answer. There’s no room for confusion or fluffy language. Keep your FAQ page accessible by grouping questions into topic pillars, and consider using clickable questions with a drop-down feature for a clearer, clutter-free look.

Tip #2: Make it easy to find answers

Most of the time, your customer just wants to find what they are looking for and then move on with their lives. Make it super easy for them to find your FAQ page and submit a new question if needed. Confused customers who struggle to navigate your website, will end up looking elsewhere for answers!

Tip #3: Experiment with format

Consider introducing visual elements such as infographics or video to answer some of your more complex questions and link to blog posts on related topics to offer your visitors increased support/additional information.
