PSA: Copywriting is not a business bandaid

Whenever I work with clients, I want to ensure they get the best value for their investment.

To do this, it's important to be transparent about what Copy can & can't do for your business.

Copywriting can do some pretty great things. Wonderful things.
Sometimes even magical things.

But...

Copy is pretty much useless if there are fundamental problems with your biz.

Things like 👇

- Confusing or misleading offers
- Unresponsive, hard-to-use websites
- Badly-designed products or poorly structured service packages
- Poor customer experience
- Shoddy customer service

These can all negatively impact your customer's impression of your brand 😓

So, before you press play on a Copy overhaul or dig deep into a content strategy, revisit your biz fundamentals and ensure that you have all your ducks in a row 🦆

To start, get super clear on 👇

  • Your offer: what solutions do you offer to your customer? What problems do you solve? What features & benefits do you bring?

  • Your customer: who exactly are you targeting? What problems/challenges do they have? What are they trying to achieve?

  • Your USP: how does your product/service stand out from competitors? What do you do differently? What makes your brand shine?

If you need help getting crystal clear on your business offering, USP & target market, I can help!

I offer a copy audit & consultation service, which is the perfect first stepping stone for new business owners or those who are ready to reset & grow.
